EMSCOPE Clickmeter: Discontinuous Disturbances Analyzer

EMSCOPE Clickmeter device

Overview

The Clickmeter is an advanced measurement option for the EMSCOPE platform, activated through a dedicated software license. Designed and manufactured in accordance with CISPR 16, it fully meets CISPR 14-1 requirements for measuring discontinuous disturbances ("clicks").

Built on a self-contained web-based architecture, the Clickmeter requires no external PC or software installation. Users simply open a browser, enter the instrument's IP address, and start testing immediately — making setup fast, intuitive, and efficient.

Advanced EMC Analysis

  • Simultaneous Line and Neutral measurement
  • Common-mode and Differential-mode information simultaneously
  • Four simultaneous frequency displays: 150 kHz, 500 kHz, 1.4 MHz, 30 MHz
  • Reduces overall test time with dual-channel capability
  • Deeper modal insight for power-line filter optimization
  • Ideal for R&D and compliance verification

Clickmeter web application interface

Intuitive Web Interface

  • No installation required — browser-based access via IP address
  • Clear overview of menus and plots for quick, error-free setup
  • All test parameters configurable with a single click: traces, duration, click rate
  • Fast, repeatable, and reliable test preparation
  • Supports network-based laboratory workflows

Measurement Results

  • Four simultaneous plots at 150 kHz, 500 kHz, 1.4 MHz, and 30 MHz
  • Each plot shows regulatory limits (CISPR 14-1 or user-defined) and Peak / Quasi-Peak detectors
  • Summary table for concise overview and quick verification at a glance
  • Automated statistical evaluation: click rate, exceedance levels, duration bins, rule conditions
  • Consistent automated logic for accredited labs and compliance teams

Clickmeter automated PDF report

Automated Test Reporting

  • Compiles all measurement data — plots and summary tables — into a single ready-to-share document
  • Flowchart representation of the measurement sequence per channel (CISPR 14-1 structure)
  • Export as PDF format for documentation, traceability, or customer delivery
  • Eliminates manual processing and reduces operator variability
  • Suitable for internal design reviews and traceable compliance records

Licensing

The Clickmeter functionality is available as a licensed software option for the EMSCOPE platform. Existing EMSCOPE users can activate Clickmeter at any time by purchasing the corresponding license, unlocking all features for discontinuous disturbance ("click") measurement and analysis.
